February 18, 2020

Safety while on the road should always be a top priority, but especially for us ladies!
Women business travelers now make up nearly fifty percent of all business travel in the US.

As women, we face unique safety risks when we travel for business or pleasure.
According to a Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) and AIG Travel survey, 83% of women reported having had concerns about their safety while on a business trip”. * That is a staggering number when I think about all of the wonderful women I know who travel independently.
Another survey conducted by MMGY Global’s Portrait of American Travelers found, “64% of women in 2019 said safety was extremely desirable when taking a vacation.” *

Did you know One in six American women have been the victim of sexual assault or rape? * With my job as an audiologist/ account executive, I find myself traveling alone on a weekly basis. I often pass the time in the car with a true crime podcast. The combination of my frequent travel and podcast binges made me realize I needed an extra layer of protection while on the go! My mother, being the glam diva she is had just the solution and introduced me to BLINGSTING, the cutest women’s safety. company ever! Whether your pepper spray is on your keyring, in your purse or on the dog leash, you shouldn’t have to compromise your fabulous aesthetic for safety!
